The office shares, “This dynamic indoor workshop covers safety, skills, gear, places to paddle, managing common emergencies, and caring for your paddle craft.”
The class will occur from 6 pm to 8 pm on May 1 on the Main Level at Newport Yacht Club.
The event is free and open to the public as a service of the Newport Harbormaster Paddle Safety Program and the American Canoe Association. All ages and abilities are welcome. Those interested can register now by emailing: NewportPaddles@cityofnewport.com[/vc_column_text]
