The Better Bay Alliance (BBA) continues its commitment to enhancing boater safety and awareness with the launch of Live Chart. Following a tragic accident in 2019 that claimed the life of Sandra Tartaglino, a dedicated racing sailor, the BBA was founded by a group of concerned boaters determined to prevent similar incidents.

On Thursday, April 25th, Ørsted Marine Affairs joined forces with The Better Bay Alliance to host a public presentation at Innovate Newport. The event served as a platform to provide insights into the Revolution Wind Construction project and its implications for the local community and marine environment.

(WJAR) — Friends of a woman killed in a tragic boating crash on Narragansett Bay took their grief and turned it into positive force. The Better Bay Alliance is rolling out a live mapping program to show where events are taking place on the bay that you can avoid for safety.

Tuesday, February 28 from 7-9. pm – Whether you are a seasoned boater or a novice, we can all benefit from learning about the ” Rules of the Road”, “best practices” on the water, Aids to Navigation, and how to access the most up-to-date information about boating events on Rhode Island waters.
