Join us for a FREE Boating Safety Seminar on Tuesday, February 13th from 6 PM to 8 PM at The Newport Yacht Club in Newport, RI, presented by The Better Bay Alliance. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their boating knowledge and skills. Our expert speakers will cover a wide range of topics, including safe navigation, emergency procedures, and life-saving techniques.
In addition, there will be a demonstration of LIVE CHART, which is a (free) interactive Google Map of RI waters. Through a clear chart-like view of all boating activities on RI waters, LIVE CHART enhances safety through its use by allowing all boaters, including those in paddle sports, to plan a safe day of boating activities.

The Better Bay Alliance was formed shortly after a fatal boating accident on August 11, 2019 by a group of concerned boaters with a broad background of boating experience.
