Special Training Opportunity for Optimist Sailors

Green Fleet Sailors – One day of pre-regatta coaching and three days of coaching for the Opti NE Championship
White, Blue, Red Sailors – Three days of pre-regatta coaching and three days of coaching for the Optimist New England Championship

A unique opportunity is available for Optimist sailors (Green, Red, Blue, and White) who want to up their game prior to the 2019 USODA Optimist NE Championship. Sail Newport’s top coaches will work with sailors in a variety of practice sizes to work on specific skills. In small group settings, we’ll work on boat speed and boat handling. The full group together will practice starting, fleet management, and work on large fleet tactical scenarios. This will be a fantastic and fun way to culminate the summer racing season!
