Annual swim from Navy Base Newport to Potter Cove.USCG issues Notice to Mariners closing the East Passage during the event. Be at Newport Navy Base - Sat August 6th @ 7:00AM EDT. Typically 350-400 swimmers and >100 kayaks temporarily close the east passage to marine traffic.
